Session or gallery — which should I pick?
The two event types explained: session (proofing) vs. gallery (delivery).
Updated: 2026-04-24
Session is the proofing mode. Photos are automatically downsized to 1024 px on the long edge — the client sees the proposals and marks favorites, but never gets the print-ready files. Perfect for the first selection pass after a wedding or family shoot.
Gallery keeps the originals. Once the client submits, they can download full files (or a ZIP of the whole gallery, if the plan allows). Ideal for final delivery.
The type is set once at event creation — it can't be changed later because it affects how the files are stored.
