Proofing or delivery — which should I pick?

Proofing is for picking. Photos are automatically downsized to 1024 px on the long edge — the client browses the proposals, marks favourites and sends their picks, but never gets print-ready files. Perfect for the first selection pass after a wedding or family shoot. In the gallery list it carries a To pick badge.

Delivery keeps the originals. The client downloads full files one by one or all at once as a ZIP. Ideal for final delivery. Badge: To download.

The type is set once when you create the gallery — it can't be changed later because it affects how the files are stored.
